Dear Sir.
I wish you would reserve four or five Bushels
of Barley for me - and send me some fodder
Straw & Corn Mrs. Page has been confined
ever since She got here - as soon as She gets
out & Frank Page goes to Richmond I will
send you a good great Coat or the materials
for one – I only want to pay off all first,
& then buy a new with cash, which will make
a great Difference in prices if you can collect
any Money for me in a few Days, I can go
on with my cash purchases before I receive
any Money from Richmond, which will not be
until 18th. next month Captain Clueverius owes
me as guardian of Captain John Camp’s orphans ten
Dollars & promises to pay them the last District
Court. get the money & your Receipt shall be good
against me – Captain Sewell knows this claim
