Richmond August 27th 1801

Dear Unkle

I have Taken the Libitry of incloseing
you a Bill of sale for a Negrow girl
Named Lilly who formly Belong to Abraham
Marrable, and who has hir Now in pursession
This Negrow girl I thought I had sold hir to
Benjamin Marrable Senior But he is not as
yet satisfied me for hir as such I shall hold
ou pon hir Untill he dus satisfie me, and
As this is purhaps not known to the Publict, I Beg
you if she is takein to satisfie any of Mr.
Abraham Marrable's depts you stop will
step Forward in my name and for Bid the sale
to which you will sho your athority also the
Bill of sale which has bin given me
Ever sence the yeare 1794. your compliance
With the above Will greatly Obblige yours
