I filled up two sets of Exchange made payable
to the, which Colonel Byrd took to foward to the trustees
named in your bond, or their Executors, or admi
nistrators: one set if for £550..12.5, the other
£143..18..3. The former set I shall transmit to
you, when it shall be returned to me, the latter
will be carried to your Credit: The entry will
be to pay 100£ which was due the 20th day of last
March, also 26£ 15s.. 9 which shall be due the 25th of
next November & 34£ which shall be due the 20th of
next December making in the whole £160..15..9 Sterling
which is £16..17..6 more than the bill I shall apply
to my use. To elucidate this seeming error I beg
leave to refer you to the following Account.
