1778 december 12th. Received of Samuel Griffin esquire a bond of D'n Corbin
Griffin's payable to the said Samuel Griffin for five thousand pounds
current money of Virginia, and continental loan office certificates to
the amount of five thousand and ten pounds of like money to ^ be kept
and applied according to the limitations and provisions of ^ a deed of
settlement between the said Samuel Griffin and myself and others
bearing date the tenth instant.
