    James Macleod, merchant of Yorktown, letter to Mann Page, Rosewell, Gloucester County, Virginia dated July 21, 1790. Macleod writes that he has sent rum, wine, limes, sugar and shoes by one of Page's enslaved workers. He also writes concerning the tobacco of Mr. Burwell's estate and that of Page's father.

Macleod writes about packing tobacco and to inform Page that he has sent him wine, wine glasses and salt. Macleod adds that no fruit was available in town but he does have rum.
